Beijing "deeply concerned" about protectionism."

Though I don't think its the President's job to steer the country's economy, I appreciate Obama persuading us to buy American.

But I guess China doesn't.

Here is what I have to say about that. No country should get become dependent upon only its exports. Just as no merchant can get upset at a consumer for choosing a different merchant (one in their own backyard.) In the business world this a called opportunity. America has gone from being one of the most industrial nations, to being one of the largest consumers, and this is an opportunity to start benefiting on our own resources again. I believe this is an opportunity for China, and other countries who have become comfortable with foreign consumers to begin to think of other ways to create wealth. Money is not a limited resource, and withholding it as a consumer is not wrong.

Good Toys Save Lives

Though I am one for small government, I like what I see in the "Consumer Safety Improvement Act"

Ever since I heard about the scary things that can be found in some plastics, I have been on the look out for alternatives. But soon I won't have to look very hard according to "Onearth.org." Read it here.
